Description

Bur Stand

In surgical sterilisation, to maintain an aseptic environment to prevent infections and complications, a Bur Stand can be used. The burr stand plays a significant role in achieving this goal by providing a designated area for organising, sterilising, and storing the burrs before and after surgical procedures.

  • Electro-Polished Construction
  • AISI-304L Stainless Steel
  • Special design for storage, ultrasonic cleaning and autoclaving of burs
  • Sturdy construction, fully autoclavable up to 135°
  • Available with green, yellow and also red silicone inserts

The stand’s design prioritises the prevention of contamination and accidental damage to the burrs. The burr stand’s materials are non-porous and smooth, allowing easy cleaning and sterilization to maintain the highest level of hygiene in the surgical environment.

  • Infection Control – By maintaining the sterility of the burrs, the stand helps reduce the risk of post-operative infections, promoting patient safety and recovery.
  • Efficiency – The organised layout of the burr stand allows surgical teams to quickly access the required tools during the procedure, improving efficiency in the operating room.
  • Consistency – Standardising the sterilisation and storage process with a burr stand helps maintain consistency and also compliance with sterile protocols.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is to challenge everything we do, be accountable for what we manufacture and also continually improve.

We select the highest grade steels, for the best long term value for our customers. As part of our ISO 9001 quality system, we ensure we have access to material mill certificates and as part of our proactive objective quality assessment, we send off routine batches of material for 3rd Party testing and verification. This ensures our customers receive the instrument they ordered, manufactured from the correct steel, as per BS 5194.
