Description
Tibbs Arterial Cannula
The Tibbs Arterial Cannula, vital during surgeries, provides direct access to a patient’s arterial blood supply, ensuring accurate monitoring. This device finds application in various surgical procedures, including cardiovascular surgeries and critical care scenarios. Medical professionals insert the cannula into a major artery, such as the radial or femoral artery, to continuously monitor blood pressure, sample blood for laboratory analysis, and administer medications or fluids.
- Tibbs Arterial Cannula can be bent to shape due to their high quality stainless steel construction
- High quality stainless steel suitable for clinicians to bend shape
- Removes contamination risks through flushing
In surgical settings, the Tibbs Arterial Cannula proves indispensable for maintaining hemodynamic stability during complex procedures. By enabling real-time blood pressure monitoring, medical professionals ensure that the patient’s circulation remains within a safe and stable range. Consequently, this capability empowers the surgical team to make immediate adjustments as required, thereby safeguarding the patient’s well-being throughout the procedure.
Trained medical professionals must handle the cannula’s placement, adhering to proper sterile techniques and vigilant monitoring to minimise risks and complications associated with arterial access.
