Tray dividers are vital for surgical instrument sterilization. They organize instruments, prevent contact, aid in proper cleaning, and ensure effective sterilization. Additionally, they facilitate safe storage and efficient handling. Tray dividers play a crucial role in maintaining instrument sterility, ensuring they are ready for safe use in medical procedures.
Surgical instruments are placed in the sterilization basket in an organized manner. Tray dividers create separate compartments or sections within the basket, allowing for the systematic arrangement of instruments. This organization prevents the instruments from touching each other, reducing the risk of damage or contamination.
During the sterilization process, it’s crucial to avoid direct contact between instruments. If instruments come into contact, it may prevent the sterilization agent, such as steam or chemical solution, from fully reaching all surfaces. Tray dividers create barriers between instruments, ensuring adequate exposure to the sterilization method.
Our philosophy is to challenge everything we do, be accountable for what we manufacture and continually improve.
Every instrument ensures its correct composition to be fit for purpose and perform the action it was designed for. We select the highest grade steels, for the best long term value for our customers.
As part of our ISO 9001 quality system, we ensure we have access to material mill certificates and as part of our proactive objective quality assessment, we send off routine batches of material for 3rd Party testing as well as verification. This also ensures our customers receive the instrument they ordered, manufactured from the correct steel, as per BS 5194.
