Description

Dunhill Artery Forceps

Dunhill Artery Forceps are used to grasp vessels, tissue, and sutures during surgical procedures. They compress the artery and hold it out of the way, or clamp and seal blood vessels. The instrument is available in straight or curved serrated blades, and it has a ratcheted finger ring handle.

Dunhill Artery Forceps find common use in surgical procedures for clamping and controlling bleeding from small blood vessels, especially arteries. Their design includes fine tips and serrated jaws, providing a secure grip on blood vessels without causing tissue harm. This aids surgeons in occluding blood flow for improved procedure visibility and control.

The forceps are usually made from high-quality stainless steel to ensure they can be sterilized and reused for multiple surgeries. They come in various sizes to accommodate different vessel diameters and surgical situations. The proper use of Dunhill Artery Forceps requires careful handling and precision to avoid unnecessary trauma to the patient’s tissues.

Overall, Dunhill Artery Forceps are an essential tool in a surgeon’s arsenal for achieving hemostasis and maintaining a clear operative field during various surgical procedures.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is to challenge everything we do, be accountable for what we manufacture and also continually improve. We manufacture our stainless steel instruments in strict adherence to BS 5194 guidelines. This also guarantees that each instrument possesses the accurate composition necessary for them to be suitable for their intended purpose and to effectively execute their designed actions.

We select the highest grade steels, for the best long term value for our customers. As part of our ISO 9001 quality system, we ensure we have access to material mill certificates and as part of our proactive objective quality assessment. We send off routine batches of material for 3rd Party testing and also for verification. This ensures our customers receive the instrument they ordered, manufactured from the correct steel, as per BS 5194.
