Emmet Dissecting Forceps

Surgeons value Emmet Dissecting Forceps in surgical settings because their distinctive features enhance their effectiveness during procedures. These forceps feature fine, curved tips designed for exceptional precision in tissue manipulation and dissection. This feature is particularly advantageous in gynecological surgeries and obstetric procedures.

  • Precise Curved Tips – Fine, curved tips for precise tissue manipulation in delicate areas.
  • Extended Reach – Long, slender design reaches challenging areas inaccessible to larger instruments.
  • Secure Grip – Non-slip design reduces the risk of accidental tissue damage during surgery.
  • Durable Stainless Steel – High-quality stainless steel construction ensures durability, rust-resistance, and easy sterilisation.
  • Surgical Versatility – Suitable for gynecological, obstetric, and various surgical procedures.

Emmet Dissecting Forceps are prized in surgical practice for their precision, thanks to their finely curved tips, which prove invaluable in handling delicate tissues such as the cervix. Their elongated design extends reach, crucial for intricate procedures like colposcopies. The secure, non-slip grip minimises the risk of tissue trauma, ensuring precise control during surgery.

Crafted from durable stainless steel, they resist corrosion and are easy to sterilise, upholding strict sterility standards to prevent complications. These versatile forceps transcend gynaecological applications, finding utility in various minor surgeries that demand precision. Thus, Emmet dissecting forceps emerge as an indispensable tool for surgeons, enhancing precision and safety in a wide range of medical procedures.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy revolves around committing to challenging everything we do, maintaining accountability for our manufacturing, and continually striving for improvement.

Every instrument we produce undergoes rigorous scrutiny to ensure its correct composition, ensuring it is not only fit for its intended purpose but also capable of performing the action it was meticulously designed for. Furthermore, we meticulously select the highest-grade steels to ensure the best long-term value for our valued customers.

As part of our ISO 9001 quality system, we ensure we have access to material mill certificates and as part of our proactive objective quality assessment, we send off routine batches of material for 3rd Party testing as well as verification. This also ensures our customers receive the instrument they ordered, manufactured from the correct steel, as per BS 5194.
