Surgeons commonly use our Halsey Needle Holder with Tungsten Carbide for securely holding small needles during suturing, particularly in plastic surgery and procedures involving delicate tissues, such as dermatology. They are available with smooth jaws. Smooth jaws will cause the least damage to the needle. Physician preference typically determines the type of working surface utilised. This product is straight with smooth tips.
Firstly, our Halsey Needle Holder features tungsten carbide inserts at the tip, offering exceptional durability and hardness. This material ensures a secure grip on needles and minimises wear, prolonging the instrument’s lifespan.
Furthermore, this needle holder is meticulously crafted with a precision design. The fine tips enable surgeons to grasp and manipulate needles with utmost accuracy. Its slim profile and delicate yet robust construction make it an ideal choice for various surgical procedures, from suturing to more complex operations.
An ergonomic handle is provided by the instrument, offering surgeons a comfortable and secure grip. The design ensures that healthcare professionals can work for extended periods without experiencing discomfort or strain. The ‘ergonomic’ handle enhances the user experience and aids in maintaining precise control during surgery.

Firstly, our philosophy is to challenge everything we do, be accountable for what we manufacture and continually improve.
Additionally, every instrument undergoes a rigorous quality check to ensure it possesses the correct composition, making it suitable for its intended purpose and capable of performing the actions it was designed for. We select the highest grade steels, for the best long term value for our customers.
Finally, as part of our ISO 9001 quality system, we ensure we have access to material mill certificates and as part of our proactive objective quality assessment, we send off routine batches of material for 3rd Party testing as well as verification. This also ensures our customers receive the instrument they ordered, manufactured from the correct steel, as per BS 5194.
