Explore our Masson Needle Holder designed for secure needle manipulation. With serrated jaws, ratcheted handles, and a locking mechanism, it’s ideal for suturing larger needles in surgery. Surgeons use our Masson Needle Holder to hold larger and heavier suture needles. The tip of the needle features a wide design with cross-serrations and a central groove.
Firstly, our Masson Needle Holder features a locking mechanism that enables surgeons to firmly grasp and secure the needle during suturing. This feature ensures that the needle remains in position, which is crucial for accurate and controlled stitching.
Furthermore, this is equipped with a ratcheting mechanism, the handles of the instrument provide surgeons with a controlled grip. This feature enables the surgeon to maintain a firm and controlled grip on the needle holder. The ratchet guarantees that the handles remain in place once the surgeon applies the desired level of pressure, reducing hand fatigue during extended surgical procedures.
Moreover, the serrated jaws of the Masson needle holder offer an enhanced grip on the surgical needle. This serration pattern prevents slippage and ensures a secure hold on the needle during suturing, even when working with fine or delicate tissues. This feature contributes to the precision and reliability of the surgical stitching process.
Finally, these features collectively make the Masson needle holder an essential tool in various surgical procedures. This is when precise and controlled needle manipulation is required for successful suturing and wound closure. Add this essential tool to your surgery theatre.
