Description

Schaedel Towel Clip

We designed the Schaedel Towel Clip as a medical instrument for use in surgery. It serves to secure sterile surgical drapes or towels to the patient’s body during a surgical procedure.

  • Clamp Design – Schaedel towel clips have a clamp-like design with serrated jaws.
  • Sterilisation Compatibility – They can be easily sterilised using standard methods.
  • Material – Typically made of stainless steel.
  • Serrated Jaws – Provide a secure grip on surgical drapes or towels.
  • Adjustability – Many clips have an adjustable design.

Schaedel Towel Clips feature a clamp-like design with serrated jaws that securely grip surgical drapes or towels. They are typically made of stainless steel, a durable and sterilisation-compatible material. These clips often come in multiple sizes and are adjustable to accommodate various surgical needs. The serrated jaws provide a firm grip, preventing slippage and ensuring the drapes stay in place throughout the procedure.

One of the primary advantages of Schaedel towel clips is their ability to maintain a sterile surgical field, reducing the risk of contamination during surgery. They also ensure easy access to the surgical site, thanks to their secure grip and adjustable design, allowing real-time adjustments. These clips offer cost-effectiveness because healthcare professionals can reuse them after sterilisation. Additionally, their ease of use ensures they do not disrupt the surgical workflow. Additionally, their versatility makes them suitable for a wide range of surgical procedures, where maintaining sterility and surgical precision are paramount.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is to challenge everything we do, be accountable for what we manufacture and also continually improve. We manufacture our stainless steel instruments in strict adherence to BS 5194 guidelines. This ensures each instrument has the correct composition for its intended purpose and can effectively perform its designed actions.

Secondly ,we select the highest grade steels, for the best long term value for our customers. Furthermore, as part of our ISO 9001 quality system, we ensure we have an access to material mill certificates. Finally, as part of our proactive objective quality assessment we send off routine batches of material for 3rd Party testing. This ensures our customers receive the instrument they ordered, manufactured from the correct steel, as per BS 5194.
