Adson Bayonet Dressing Forceps (Ear) are thumb forceps that surgeons use to hold dressing materials such as cotton and gauze during surgical procedures, changing dressings, or packing wounds. They have a wide thumb grasp for increased precision and control. The bayonet style handle allows these forceps to be used in areas with a compromised view. This product is straight with serrated tips and is also available with 1×2 Teeth.
Adson Bayonet Dressing Forceps are bayonet grasping devices that ear doctors use for aural procedures, like inserting gauze packs and removing foreign bodies.
These forceps are indispensable tools used to extract foreign objects that may obstruct the ear canal. Furthermore, they facilitate the precise administration of medication to combat infections.
One noteworthy feature of these ear forceps is their ergonomic design, which includes serrations on both the handles and jaws. These serrations provide a secure and confident grip, ensuring medical professionals can work effectively and safely during delicate procedures.
The shaft of these Adson Ear Forceps measures 190mm in length, a thoughtful design choice that improves access to deep and challenging-to-reach areas within the ear canal. This extended length enhances precision during medical interventions.
Moreover, the bayonet design of these forceps enhances visibility by providing a direct line of sight to the jaws. This feature is vital for maintaining accuracy during medical procedures, ensuring doctors can target specific areas precisely.
The dual serration design serves a dual purpose: it provides a firm grip on a wide range of materials, allowing doctors to manipulate and remove foreign objects or introduce medication securely.

Firstly, our philosophy is to challenge everything we do, be accountable for what we manufacture and continually improve. This ensures every instrument has the correct composition, to ensure they can be fit for purpose and perform the action they were designed for.
Lastly, we select the highest grade steels, for the best long term value for our customers. As part of our ISO 9001 quality system, we ensure we have access to material mill certificates and as part of our proactive objective quality assessment, we send off routine batches of material for 3rd Party testing as well as verification. This also ensures our customers receive the instrument they ordered, manufactured from the correct steel, as per BS 5194.
