Description

Graefe Fixation Forceps

Graefe Fixation Forceps are commonly used in ophthalmologic procedures needing an extensive view of the globe. The forceps have a locking feature, and are generally applied at the limbus and then fixed gained the sclera for a secure hold.

Graefe Fixation Forceps is a specialised device that plastic, ENT and ophthalmologic surgeons can use to grasp, manipulate and retract the eyelashes, eyelids and other ocular structures.

The Graefe Fixation Forceps offers a broad range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to hold and mobilise certain parts of the eye during ophthalmic procedures or reconstructive surgery.

For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of inwardly curved tips with inner serrations that ensure exceptional fixation. In addition, the tips have toothed edges to minimise local damage.

Moreover, the Graefe Fixation Forceps features a spring handle for manually controlling the clamping pressure. Also, the handle has outer ridges that minimise the risk of slippage. We offer two different patterns, with and without a ratchet system, to suit all applications.

Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel to ensure the highest quality instruments in your operating rooms.

Our Philosophy

Firstly, our philosophy is to challenge everything we do, be accountable for what we manufacture and also continually improve. Secondly, ensuring that every instrument has the correct composition guarantees their suitability for the intended purpose and enables them to perform their designated actions effectively.

Furthermore, we select the highest grade steels, for the best long term value for our customers. As part of our ISO 9001 quality system, we ensure we have access to material mill certificates and also part of our proactive objective quality assessment, we send off routine batches of material for 3rd Party testing as well as verification. Lastly, this ensures our customers receive the instrument they ordered, manufactured from the correct steel, as per BS 5194.
