Description

Castroviejo Needle Holder

This is a double spring instrument used for holding small, delicate needles in various micro surgical procedures. It also can also feature a locking mechanism or without. This has a spring handle and a flat lock, coupled with straight jaws and also can be available with Tungsten Carbide inserts for precise control during intricate procedures.  Castroviejo Micro Needle Holders assist surgeons to handle and insert needles during suturing procedures.

  • Slender design
  • Fine jaws
  • Ratcheted locking mechanism
  • Available in Stainless Steel

The Castroviejo needle holder’s slender design facilitates precise control during surgical procedures. Its slim profile allows surgeons to navigate tight spaces with accuracy, particularly in microsurgery and delicate ophthalmic procedures.

The instrument’s fine jaws provide a secure grip on needles and sutures. This feature is crucial for maintaining control over small, delicate materials, preventing slippage during surgery. The precision offered by the fine jaws is especially valuable in intricate procedures where accuracy is paramount.

The ratcheted locking mechanism ensures a stable and adjustable grip on the needle or suture. Surgeons can fine-tune the tension according to their requirements, providing a customisable and secure hold. This feature enhances the overall stability of the instrument during surgery, reducing the likelihood of disruptions or complications.
